The Inaugural Recital - Wednesday 21st September 2005

This was given on the new Phoenix Organ in Kilmore Church by David Briggs, Concert Organist, New York, and Organist Emeritus, Gloucester Cathedral.

The programme for this recital is listed below, and included the World Premiere of a specially commissioned 21 minute piece by David Briggs as a “Homage à Pierre Cochereau” entitled, “Prelude, Adagio and Choral Varié.” The piece is to be published by "Chestnut Music," and will be recorded by the composer on the Kilmore Phoenix organ in June 2006, along with a very attractive programme of music, which will, thereafter, be available on a CD.
